WGVCC Mission
The Women’s GVCC is a group of enthusiastic women interested in learning more about the sport of cycling. The Women’s GVCC strives to encourage more women to get involved in cycling. By encouraging increased participation, women’s cycling will continue to grow throughout the Rochester area and the country.

Race Information
The GVCC Women’s Group races on Tuesday nights with the As. The women’s group races follow the same process as the men’s races. Races start promptly at 6 p.m.
The courses change each week and alternate – one week the course is on the west side of the city, the next week, the course is on the east side.

Intro to Women’s GVCC
For 2008 we are starting “Intro to WGVCC” – a six week training race/ride for women interested in learning to race. During it, women will learn different techniques, skills and tactics to improve their racing skills.
- Intro to WGVCC run for 6 Thursdays beginning 4/24 and end 5/29.
- The session will take place on the course for that evening. Refer to the 2008 Thursday schedule for a complete list of courses.
- Each attendee must have either a guest or full GVCC membership and pay $1 for insurance of the event.
- If you only purchase a guest membership, you may only attend 3 of the 6 weeks.
- If you would like to attend all six sessions, you must purchase a full GVCC membership.

Membership Information
If you are interested in simply trying out a few races or attend some of the Intro to WGVCC sessions, you can get a guest membership. For complete information, refer to the membership page.
